Chemical Operator, $26/hour starting wage Job Description Join a dynamic paint manufacturing company located on the East side of Columbus as a Chemical Operator. We are seeking two dedicated individuals who are open to working on all shifts within a union environment. This role involves a variety of tasks including batching, cleaning tanks, material handling, and performing janitorial duties. Training will likely be conducted during the day shift before transitioning to the 2nd or 3rd shift. Responsibilities Batching and compounding of materials to create paint products. Cleaning and maintaining tanks and equipment. Handling materials and organizing raw materials with precision. Performing order selection and assisting in the production process. Measuring raw materials accurately to ensure proper mixing. Maintaining detailed records and organizing part numbers for various raw materials. Performing general housekeeping duties as needed. Essential Skills Experience in chemical operations, compounding, or batching. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organization. Ability to learn and perform a variety of job duties. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with forklift operation is a plus. Why Work Here? With the construction season ramping up, this is a busy and exciting time to join our team. Shifts include 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, and 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.
