PM Location:
Seaside, OR 97138 Pay Information Traveler (50+ miles): Standard traveler rate Local (within 50 miles): Accepted at a reduced rate per Providence policy Required Experience Minimum 2 years Sterile Processing experience Acute Hospital OR experience Endoscope reprocessing experience General decontamination and sterile processing experience Epic charting experience required Required Certifications BLS Sterile Processing Certification (one of the following):
HSPA / IAHCSMM
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) CBSPD Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Skills Sterile Processing Instrument tray assembly Organizing and wrapping trays Loaner and consignment tray processing Aseptic technique Proper labeling and documentation Steam sterilization testing/monitoring Sterrad testing/monitoring Steris testing/monitoring Biological and chemical indicators High-Level Disinfection (HLD) Decontamination Manual cleaning Ultrasonic cleaners Washer/sterilizer operation Chemical decontamination agents Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) Endoscope Reprocessing Colonoscopes EGD scopes Cystoscopes Enteroscopes Fiber optics TEE probes Scope/probe reprocessing Specialty Equipment Orthopedic instruments Total joints Laparoscopic sets Endoscopy equipment Urology instruments OB/GYN instruments Ophthalmology instruments Surgical implants
Ideal Candidate:
Certified Sterile Processing Technician with recent hospital SPD experience, strong endoscope reprocessing skills, Epic experience, and proficiency in sterilization testing, decontamination, and specialty instrument processing.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
