7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment Process instrumentation for operating rooms, clinics, and endoscopy departments Perform high-level disinfection (HLD) and flexible endoscope reprocessing Operate sterilization equipment including Sterrad, Steris systems, ultrasonic cleaners, and automated endoscope reprocessors (AER) Assemble case carts and instrument trays using preference cards Maintain accurate sterilization documentation and testing records Monitor biological and chemical indicators to ensure sterilization standards are met Maintain compliance with infection control and aseptic technique policies Process specialty instrumentation including orthopedic, laparoscopic, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and urology equipment Requirements Minimum 2 years of current Sterile Processing Technician experience required Acute Hospital OR experience required Current CBSPD or
HSPA/IAHCSMM
