This shall be performed at minimum costs with optimum efficiency while ensuring quality product being manufactured in a safe manner. How You Will Make a Difference Assist in the manufacturing process and people to ensure consistent production of molded products conforming to customer specification. Perform start-up of production molds to Accudyn standards which includes complete documentation and process monitoring. Perform troubleshooting of problem concerns by identifying the true root cause. Make appropriate corrective action while ensuring the process remains fully decoupled if applicable. Review production processes to ensure they are running at the documented process. Determine root cause if not running at standard and report (document) findings to management. Develop process control limits for assigned products. Work with the quality department to ensure product capability is demonstrated with the assigned process limits. Review part ejection and transfer to the operator station. Ensure process is defined to capture 100% of defect free molded product. Recommend and implement part conveying corrective action when approved by management. Work with the quality department to optimize molding processes in attempt to improve cycle efficiency, product repeatability, and reduction (elimination) of scrap. Ensure optimization is documented at completion of task. Assist in mold sets and in press changeovers (when required) in a safe and efficient manner. Role Qualifications Technical education in Plastics Technology or related field Two or more years of experience in plastic injection mold processing or internal training Must understand and be able to demonstrate the use of scientific molding in a production environment. Basic SPC and/or statistics knowledge is beneficial but not required. Strong working knowledge of decoupled molding. Knowledge of software solutions including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
