  • Rare ground-floor opportunity at a Pittsburgh-based company with global reach and momentum The Role A hands-on production technician role responsible for executing the synthesis of advanced powder battery materials at laboratory to pilot scale.
You'll work closely with material scientists and process engineers to develop world-class energy storage materials in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. What You'll Be Doing
  • Set up, operate, and monitor process equipment - mixers, furnaces, and analytical instruments
  • Follow SOPs and GMPs; monitor and record process and quality data with rigorous attention to detail
  • Package, label, and store materials ensuring personnel safety and sample integrity
  • Support troubleshooting and apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and maintenance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality and R D teams on production and experimental tasks What We Need
  • 1+ year of technician experience in a materials fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating industrial manufacturing and laboratory equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reliably repeat precise tasks
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and GUI software
  • General mechanical knowledge and basic hand tool experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
