Processing Operator Location:

Schuylkill Haven, PA Job Description The Processing Operator is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining dairy processing equipment to ensure the efficient production of high‑quality dairy products. This role supports daily production goals by following established procedures, quality standards, and food safety requirements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor processing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) Perform equipment start‑up, shutdown, changeovers, and routine adjustments Monitor product quality and process parameters to ensure specifications are met Complete quality checks, documentation, and production records accurately Identify and report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns Follow food safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines at all times Assist with cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment and work areas Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or industrial production preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate processing or production equipment Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, or food safety practices preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work in wet, cold, and/or loud production environments Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and platforms as required Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schuylkill Haven, PA.
