Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemical Process Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the chemical processes used in our production environment to ensure consistent quality, safety, and compliance with industry and environmental standards. This is a great opportunity for both entry-level candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing, chemistry, or environmental compliance, as well as experienced technicians seeking to expand their technical skill set. Hands-on training will be provided. In this role, you will perform routine testing and monitoring of process solutions, assist in maintaining proper chemical balances, and support environmental and safety compliance efforts. Successful candidates are reliable, safety-minded, and eager to learn. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and an interest in working in a technical or laboratory-based environment are essential. Responsibilities Perform chemical analysis and bath maintenance with strict adherence to applicable company procedures. Follow predefined daily schedule to analyze baths. Daily communication with internal team members including operators, maintenance, managers, administration, etc. Operate under our quality control and standards that are in place. Analyze and make the proper additions/corrections to the process solutions to ensure each are always maintained in the correct operating range. Generate, collect, maintain, and organize applicable records. Chemical inventory tracking, ordering, and disposal. Maintenance of relevant Safety Data Sheet, (SDS). Chemical tracking and document control of each chemical Certificate of Analysis. Interaction with vendors for ordering, troubleshooting, etc. Knowledge of the DI water system. Writing, reading, and training on all relevant SOP's. Develop process parameters for new plating processes. Perform under NADCAP standards. Knowledge and understanding of waste treatment system Environmental responsibilities including waste profiles, communication, labeling, shipping, and adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations. Waste Management responsibilities including training requirements in regard to RCRA and DOT at a minimum. Research, complete and file our complete listing of environmental profiles that are in place, those that have been started, and or those that need to be started. This work may include gathering samples for profiling work to be done. Schedule the material for pick up and to have made the provisions for all materials to be packaged and labeled correctly for pick up or delivery. Review environmental profiles. Review and list all pending profiles. Review any new profiles needed Work within all related aspects that allow for our maintenance and control of the plating and environmental process. Tasks to be determined on an as needed basis. Interact and work with any other applicable work duty needs requested from management including those listed above.
