Let us break down the important details! This role starts at $20.00 per hour for entry-level candidates . As you reach key service milestones and are in good standing, you'll be eligible for step-progression pay increases. It's our way of recognizing consistency, commitment, and your contributions over time! We also consider experience when determining starting pay, and 2nd Shift comes with a $1.00 per hour

Hours:

7:00PM to 5:30AM (to start / position may transition to an 8-hour shift in the future and will require accommodation of a mid-day schedule )

Days:

Monday-Friday (starting Sunday evening) What is the job: As a Production Operator at Avient, you'll set up and operate equipment to blend, mix, or transport chemicals that make up our customer products, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency. You'll also be responsible for machine maintenance, quality control, data recording, and supporting the company's vision and principles while adhering to safety and regulatory rules. Qualifications Qualifications

• High School diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent training & experience
• Work experience in an industrial operations environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals
• Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must have the ability to use conversions, work with different units such as weight, volume, density, distance, etc. Physical Demands
• Requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening
• Must be able to walk and use hands. Occasionally requires bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs
• May occasionally be required to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to frequently commun.
