Chemical Batch Operator MEGA Professionals Riverside, RI Job Details $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Manufacturing & Shipping Associate to join our fast-paced production team in Cranston, RI. This role supports both chemical batch manufacturing and shipping/receiving operations, ensuring products are accurately produced, packaged, stored, and shipped according to company and safety standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing / Batch Production Prepare and compound batches according to production orders and formulas Operate and monitor production machinery and mixing equipment Follow batch sheets, work instructions, and quality standards with accuracy Measure ingredients using scales and tools with high attention to detail Package finished products according to company specifications Perform quality checks and report any issues with materials or equipment Maintain accurate production logs and documentation Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documents Prepare, label, and package outgoing shipments accurately Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Maintain inventory records using scanning or ERP systems Use RF scanners, labels, and basic warehouse systems as needed Identify and report damaged or incorrect shipments Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure workflow accuracy Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or chemical handling preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions, formulas, and batch sheets Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Basic computer skills (data entry, scanning systems, email) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred (certification a plus) Knowledge of shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips) a plus Safety-conscious and quality-focused mindset You should be proficient in: Mixing Packaging Experience
