We produce liquid and powder specialty chemicals for customers across a wide range of industries, with a focus on quality, consistency, safety, and service. Our manufacturing operations include everything from custom formulations to large-scale production runs. At Crucible Chemical Company, you will work in a hands-on manufacturing environment alongside an experienced team with opportunities to learn new skills, take on additional responsibility, and grow within the company. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Chemical Production Technician to support manufacturing operations. This role involves batch processing, material handling, equipment operation, packaging, and maintaining accurate production documentation in an industrial manufacturing environment. Paid on-the-job training is provided, including safety training, forklift certification, and job-specific manufacturing instruction. Starting pay is based on experience. Key Responsibilities Execute batch production procedures according to written instructions and established quality standards Weigh, measure, transfer, and process raw materials accurately and safely Operate and monitor production and material handling equipment Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and inventory documentation Perform in-process checks to support product quality and consistency Package and label finished products according to specifications Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment (training available) Communicate with production leadership regarding materials, scheduling, and operational needs Assist with related warehouse, maintenance, shipping, and receiving activities as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a chemical or manufacturing setting is preferred Ability to read and write English and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math, computer, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Forklift certification preferred (paid training available) Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting Indoor and occasional outdoor manufacturing and warehouse activities Position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Schedule Monday to Friday Day shift
