Job Description
Formulation Operator Job Description Responsible for the preparation of materials to support manufacturing operations. Operating specialty equipment, by weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials to ensure batches contains the proper ingredients and assure accurate proportions while following approved procedures. Assists with in-process testing to confirm batches meet specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs simple analytical tests (pH, conductivity, and absorbance). Performs routine cleaning of processing equipment. Handles hazardous waste as appropriate. Assists with inventory counting activities as required. Inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and remove the defective product, packaging, and component material. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all manufacturing activities performed. Monitors meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures, and related controls. Plans and controls the timing of operations. Generates reports, graphs, and other data. Ensures accurate proportions of batches following approved procedure. Interprets complex drawings, diagrams, charts, and specifications. Performs complex work to close tolerances, high quality, and accuracy. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements. Evaluate operating process equipment and implantation to ensure constant compliance with standard manufacturing practices (SMP). Provides support to lead and/or supervisor when necessary. May provide training support for on-boarding and/or new procedures. May provide support on special projects. Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Must follow all housekeeping policies and procedures. Must follow all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as required. Competencies Safe working habits, technical capacity, results driven, thoroughness, attention to details, collaboration skills, communication proficiency and flexibility. Continuously improve the quality management system of the enterprise to meet customer needs with high-quality products and services. Quality goals A) the factory product pass rate 98.5%; The qualification rate of factory products is 98.5%; B) Customer satisfaction 92%. Customer satisfaction 92% Education and experience needed for this position High school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of production/manufacturing experience is required.
