Job Description

The Operator assists in the operation and monitoring of production equipment, performing routine inspections, and supporting plant processes under supervision.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems used in plant operations. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends. Knowledge of safety standards and practices (e.g., OSHA, ISO). Proven experience as a plant operator or in a similar role. High level of safety and quality. Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.). Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical. Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge. Forklift experience . Computer Software . Warehouse experience . Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant systems. Record operating data such as temperatures, pressures, and flow rates. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and report abnormalities. Start up, shut down, and adjust equipment as required. Follow all safety procedures and protocols strictly. Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area. Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs and upgrades. Assist in maintaining inventory of materials and spare parts. Complete shift logs and handovers properly. Additional duties as assigned.
