Cleaning Operator AtWork Personnel - 3.7 Knoxville, TN Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Chemical handling safety procedures Teamwork Safety regulations Chemical surface cleaning Shop math Assembly Machining Attention to detail Computer skills Industrial equipment Industrial chemical handling Chemical safety protocols Full Job Description Clean Soap & Anneal Operator 2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm We are currently hiring a Clean Soap & Anneal Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating equipment and performing a variety of production tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate production equipment and perform basic assembly tasks Load and unload machines to produce quality parts Follow verbal and written instructions, including routings, drawings, and procedures Use precision measuring instruments for testing and quality checks Maintain accurate production documentation as required Keep work area clean and follow good housekeeping practices Make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity Train other operators as needed Participate in continuous improvement and total quality management activities
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred Ability to read and follow instructions and technical documents Basic math, reading, and computer skills required Familiarity with precision measuring tools is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for up to 12-hour shifts Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, and working in confined spaces Ability to push/pull heavy materials and operate overhead equipment Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures
Work Environment:
Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, welding fumes, oils, and lubricants Work around high-temperature processes Required to use all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work safely with chemicals such as alkaline cleaners, sulfamic acid, and other industrial cleaning solutions Must follow all plant rules, safety regulations, and quality standards Strong teamwork and communication skills We are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and grow with our team.
