Job Description

Omnilife We are a successful Mexican company dedicated to the production and distribution of dietary supplements, with a presence in more than 19 countries worldwide. As part of our growth and international expansion, we are opening our third manufacturing plant, located in Allen, Texas. Therefore, we are looking to add the following position to our team:
SPECIALIZED PRODUCTION MANUFACTURING OPERATOR
(Operador Especializado de Producción Manufactura) Job Summary Operate product preparation and/or packaging machines, verify and record operating parameters and production quantities according to specifications for semi-finished and/or finished products, and perform conditioning and cleaning processes based on the assigned production line. Responsibilities Operate product preparation and/or packaging machines; perform conditioning and cleaning processes Receive raw materials from the warehouse for portioning, identifying allergen-containing ingredients separately Verify that semi-finished and/or finished products meet quality specifications Supply equipment with the materials required for product conditioning Identify semi-finished products and/or code finished products Return raw materials to the warehouse and maintain proper records Prepare and/or package products according to specifications following the production plan Meet production standards and performance indicators Clean assigned machines according to the cleaning matrix Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks Recover non-conforming product Perform basic operational adjustments and format changes applicable to the production line Understand and execute the integrated management policy and procedures Other related responsibilities as required by operational needs Requirements High school diploma or GED (preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish (mandatory) Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, especially Excel 1 to 3 years of experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry Experience operating packaging machines Knowledge of product preparation and packaging processes Knowledge of conditioning and cleaning processes, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Important Travel requirement: Availability to travel to Mexico for initial job training Education High school diploma or GED (preferred) Experience 1 to 3 years in the food, pharmaceutical, or similar industries Experience operating packaging machines Product preparation and packaging processes Conditioning and cleaning processes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Language English (fluent) (Required) Spanish (fluent, non-negotiable) (Required) Ability to
