Job Description

Process Operator K-Solv Fuels K-Solv has the ability to bring in many different petroleum streams for blending. We take the streams that, by themselves, could not be utilized in the gasoline process. With our own lab and numerous tanks, we are able to blend these streams together and make them acceptable for gasoline blendstock. This allows us to turn our customers' offspec fuels into something valuable, thereby, reducing waste cost and turning your offspec stream into revenue. We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Process Operator who will be responsible for monitoring the flows, pressure, and specifications of the renewable fuels processing plant. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Work Schedule:
Dupont Duties & Responsibilities Operate the instrument control board; control, adjust, and regulate temperatures, pressures, levels, flow rates and other operating variables to produce quality and on-spec products Monitor process units, check and/or adjust process equipment to ensure proper operation, draw product samples for laboratory analysis, and make necessary changes in operating conditions based on laboratory analysis Assist with loading and unloading bulk tanker trailers May operate appropriate equipment to move totes and drums into correct tanks Partner and coordinate with team members, internal departments, and leadership to ensure timely completion of orders Maintain current, detailed knowledge and understanding of process unit equipment, unit operations, principles or operating methods used in the process and the effects of such operations on equipment involved May direct work and train other operators Maintain a clean and safe working environment; observe all safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and safely use equipment Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness Adherence to all OSHA and HSE regulations, Company safety guidelines, and industry standards Performs other job-related duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), desired but not required Process Operator or similar outdoor work experience Basic computer skills Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities Ability to work a Dupont Schedule Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers Organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Detail orientated with the ability to solve problems and function in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently or in a team environment Ability to work in extreme weather conditions heat, cold, etc. Demonstrate the ability to safely operate equipment Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to maintain awareness and recognize safety hazards Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures The forementioned statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or tasks that may be required.
