Lease Operator

Overview As a Lease Operator you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems. Responsibilities Responsible for monitoring and optimization of all production and injection wells. This includes all process variables, ensuring that all production equipment is operating at peak reliability and efficiency, and acquiring and storing data. Actively supports health, environment, and safety processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscious manner, following safe operating practices. Operates, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains oil and gas production equipment. Perform duties (as detailed below) associated with oil and gas producing operations; including but not limited to plunger lift wells, process equipment, compression, dehydration, etc.: Optimizing artificial lift systems. Testing wells. Acquires fluid level information. Records keeping and data input. Monitors computer control systems. Tests safety devices. Operates and monitors of SCADA. Partners with other employees, and contractors to ensure that all equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System to create work orders for inventory and work planning/prioritization. Assures all work performed adheres to customer's operational excellence standards and regulatory requirements. Drives on a routine basis. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of Lease Operator experience required. In-depth understanding of upstream facilities including but not limited to: separation, pumping, gathering, tankage, LACT sales, metering, and compression. Must live within 70 miles of Fowlerton , TX. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty. Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
