Battery Technician and Off Site Support Battery Technician and Off Site Support Re-Teck (LTG Group) Grand Prairie, TX Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are looking for a battery technician with direct renewable work experience or High Voltage Training. Job Description Attention to detail and safety focused Renewable energy experience desired Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Self-motivated with high level of integrity Must be proficient in computer skills and MS Office Frequent travel required for off-site project support Prolong standing / and working in ergonomic challenging positions Non-climate-controlled working conditions Physically fit for climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling and stacking operations Teamwork and communication skills Proficient in English based upon supporting EHS internal and external requirements. Bilingual is a Plus! Act as a team leader/supervisor to support onsite and offsite work May be required to supervise field work onsite focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency Operate battery shredding equipment and related battery testing equipment May be required to perform LOTO of equipment as an Authorized Person Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions May be required to conduct Pre-task planning, JHA's, and RA's Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner Ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions May be required to provide feedback to Safety and Quality for business improvements May be required to perform other duties if battery production for processing is limited as needed or required by your manager. Qualifications and Skills Direct Renewable work experience preferred or High Voltage Training Electrical proficiency required Indirectly related experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis post-secondary education in the Direct Current Battery field is a PLUS! HS Diploma /GED is required Minimum 2 years' working in the field or equivalent experience OSHA 10 recommended Additional post High School education is preferred Electrical certifications a PLUS! Forklift certified Must be able to pass: Criminal Background Check Drug Test MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) Check
