Fort Worth, TX A leading advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Prototype Technician to support the development and scale-up of innovative manufacturing processes within a state-of-the-art production environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy working directly with equipment, materials, and emerging technologies to help bring new manufacturing capabilities from concept to reality.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment used in prototyping and process development activities. Prepare, handle, and process raw materials, powders, and samples in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Perform measurements and collect process data using laboratory and production instrumentation. Support pilot-scale experimental trials and accurately document test procedures, observations, and results. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to assist with process optimization and troubleshooting efforts. Maintain accurate physical and electronic records related to testing activities and operational performance. Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety expectations. Partner with EHS personnel to uphold environmental, health, and safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture. Provide occasional support to broader manufacturing operations as needed. Assist with additional technical projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience within a manufacturing, pilot plant, laboratory, or production environment. 1+ years of hands-on experience operating manufacturing or processing equipment utilizing HMI interfaces. Experience within metal, ceramics, powder processing, casting, machining, heat treatment, and/or surface finishing environments. Exposure to pilot-scale operations, process development, or research and development activities. Experience handling specialized or air-sensitive materials.
