Temp to hire Position Summary:
Operate and monitor packaging processes and equipment in a dynamic, complex chemical manufacturing environment. Responsible for plant safety, compliance, quality, and productivity standards with hands-on duties in material handling, packaging, documentation, and emergency response. Key Qualifications:
Strong English reading, math, and technical skills Ability to qualify on various processes/equipment 1-2 years manufacturing experience, preferably in the chemical industry 1+ year forklift driving experience Ability to read and interpret safety rules, formulas, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Effective verbal and written communication Physically able to lift/move up to 75 lbs (with assistance) Core Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor packaging equipment and chemical processes Handle, store, and transport chemical materials using forklifts and other equipment Follow appropriate procedures for manual and automated operations Package materials in proper containers Respond to emergency situations and participate in shutdowns as needed Keep accurate records (data sheets, inventory, inspection reports, environmental reports) Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping Complete operator training and certifications Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet production demands Comply with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) procedures and policies Work Environment:
