We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our growing team in Midland, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is committed to maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety in daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handling and managing hazardous materials. Forklift operations required. Loading and unloading flatbed and box van trailers, bulk tankers, and ISO containers. Assist in warehouse inventory. Set up and start all mixing tanks and blenders. Obtains and understands all documentation for making batches. Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch. Pumping and pouring chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities. Operates equipment (mixers, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.) safely. Repackages bulk products into drums, pails, and totes according to repackaging agreements. Ensures all raw materials returned to inventory have the correct quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition. Follows lab instructions regarding batch approval, adjustments, and any additional requirements. Cleans equipment when needed. Maintains appropriate level of housekeeping according to company standards. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product recipes, material identification, etc. Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Able to perform these operations using weight and volume measurements. Able to manipulate 55-gallon drums, 5 and 7-gallon buckets, and powder bags up to 55 lbs. Good troubleshooting skills. Experience driving a forklift is preferred; a valid certification is a plus but not required. Participates in ongoing safety programs, including safety meetings and training.
