Process Technician Pasadena, TX We are looking for a Process Technician to join our Petrochemicals team in Pasadena, TX. Together, let us keep the heart beating one creative solution at a time! The Process Technician is responsible for supporting safe and efficient operations at Pasadena site. This includes operating and maintaining production equipment, managing logistics for inbound and outbound materials, and performing quality checks to ensure product integrity. The technician works closely with operations, maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to meet safety, environmental, and performance standards in a high-performance, team-based environment. The role requires physical capability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Come create chemistry with us! During your shift as a Process Technician, you will... Operate and monitor both DCS and manual equipment to ensure safe and reliable production. Work from written and verbal instructions to safely manufacture products. Record operating data, collect samples, interpret results, and make necessary process adjustments. Handle waste materials in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform SAP transactions related to raw materials, production, and maintenance. Conduct routine maintenance, equipment lockout, and issue safe work permits. Manage inbound and outbound logistics for truck, rail, and marine shipments. Adhere to PPE and safety protocols, including confined space entry and physical labor in high noise/temperature environments. Comply with DOT, USCG, HazMat, and emergency response regulations. Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with the QA laboratory to ensure product specifications are met. Support other operational and production tasks as needed. If you have... A High School Diploma or GED. A Process Technology degree or equivalent experience. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends. Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and operate in high-noise/temperature conditions. 3+ years in chemical, refinery, or manufacturing environments (preferred). Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with DCS systems. Emergency Response Team participation. Knowledge of Lean concepts (e.g., 5S).
