Job Description
Mission Petroleum Carriers is seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented Crude Oil Dispatcher to coordinate crude oil transportation. The Crude Oil Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of crude oil from well sites, tank batteries, and production facilities to terminals, pipelines, and refineries. Serving as the central communication hub between drivers, field personnel, customers, and operations teams, this role ensures smooth logistics operations while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Experience with PakEnergy software is considered a plus. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's level of experience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of crude oil transportation trucks for pickup and delivery across assigned areas Manage the movement of crude oil between well sites, production locations, tank batteries, storage facilities, terminals, pipelines, refineries, and delivery points Communicate effectively with drivers, field personnel, customers, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of loads and error-free deliveries Monitor daily trucking activity, routes, delivery schedules, and driver assignments to optimize operational efficiency Utilize dispatch systems, logistics software, and GPS tracking tools to manage routing, track shipments, and improve logistics performance Track and maintain accurate records of load volumes, shipment tickets, pickup and drop-off times, delivery schedules, dispatch logs, destinations, and delivery status updates Prioritize loads based on tank levels, customer requirements, scheduling demands, and available equipment or trucking capacity Adjust dispatch schedules and routing to accommodate operational changes, delays, weather conditions, equipment availability, or emergency situations Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, troubleshooting, and emergency response to ensure minimal disruption to operations Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams regarding truck, trailer, and equipment availability Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HSE standards, safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies at all times Provide regular updates and reporting related to logistics operations, shipment activity, and delivery performanceRequirements:
1-3 years of dispatching or logistics experience (oil & gas preferred) Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in the crude oil industry Strong knowledge of oilfield operations, hauling processes, and logistics coordination Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols Experience using dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and customer service skillsWHY MISSION?
