You should be comfortable leading a team of 2-3 technicians, while also serving as a direct report to your Production Manager. This is a mid-range position with the opportunity to become licensed in water and fire clean up, if interested. If you are successful in this role will have an opportunity to become a Production Manager.
Job Description:
The Lead Water Technician role is responsible for leading and coordinating the crew and equipment for each job assigned. You will be responsible for on-site inspection, communicating with the customers, and ensuring that the job is completed within the specified time frame.
Responsibilities:
Respond to service calls as needed and perform services as assigned, following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided Effectively communicate with production manager and office staff on project progress and any challenges Be comfortable enough to supervise technicians on the job site; know what needs to be done and ensure the techs working under also understand what they are to do each day Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews Xactimate and/or Drybook experience preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in the cleaning/restoration/disaster industry Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills A valid driver's license High school diploma/GED IICRC certifications preferred Ability to travel locally as necessary Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance Exposure to chemicals Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings) Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise. Pay Rate Ranges from $24-30/hour based on experience, with possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit. This opportunity is for either full-time (with benefits), part-time, or contract depending on the qualified candidates' preference.
