Job Description
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Furnace Tech 3 - Graveyard Shift role in Vancouver, WA . Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Shift:
Monday-Friday, 11:00pm-7:00am (Graveyard Shift)Pay:
$24-$30/hrDOE Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial furnace equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production operations. Set up furnace cycles according to established specifications, including temperature control, timing, and material requirements. Load and unload materials into furnaces, ensuring proper handling, placement, and tracking of work orders. Perform routine quality checks on heat-treated or processed materials to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Monitor furnace gauges, controls, and automated systems, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance. Follow all safety protocols, including high-heat operating procedures and PPE requirements, to maintain a safe working environment. Record process data, including temperatures, cycle times, and production output, with accuracy and attention to detail. Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and notify supervisors of equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet daily throughput and quality goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company and safety standards.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Previous experience working with industrial furnaces, heat treat processes, or heavy manufacturing equipment preferred. Ability to work in high-temperature environments for extended periods. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently on graveyard shift. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and follow strict safety and operational procedures.What We Offer:
