Full-time•3rd Shift Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Technician to join our chemical manufacturing team on 3rd shift. The Production Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, performing batch processing activities, handling raw materials, and ensuring products are manufactured according to quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate mixers, pumps, packaging equipment, and other production machinery according to established procedures. Follow batch sheets, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to manufacture chemical products. Weigh, measure, and add raw materials accurately during batch production. Monitor process parameters and equipment performance throughout production runs. Collect samples and perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. Complete production records, batch documentation, and inventory transactions accurately. Perform equipment cleaning, changeovers, and sanitation activities. Safely handle chemicals and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Load and unload raw materials and finished goods using material handling equipment when required. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and safety concerns. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support plant housekeeping efforts. Comply with all company safety, environmental, and quality policies. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or industrial experience. Ability to follow written instructions, batch records, and SOPs. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently during overnight operations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. Preferred Chemical manufacturing or batch processing experience. Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks. Experience working in a GMP, ISO, or regulated manufacturing environment. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting. Ability to wear respiratory protection and other required PPE.
