This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment, and contribute to the fabrication of custom parts and products. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their skills in machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. Your expertise will help ensure that production runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC routing machines, ensuring accurate cutting and shaping of plastics, or composites using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming. Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing specifications to produce precise parts. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC routers, and other fabrication tools to maximize uptime. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards. Handle materials safely within the factory environment, utilizing forklifts or other materials handling equipment when necessary. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups, production runs, and inspection results for traceability and continuous improvement. Experience Prior experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC routers, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes or similar manufacturing equipment in a factory setting. Strong knowledge of CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools for creating or modifying part programs. Familiarity with CAM programming for toolpath generation and machine optimization. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, mechanical knowledge, and machining techniques. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively for assembly and quality checks. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements. Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling procedures is a plus. Join us if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence!
