Shop Supervisor and Operations Manager Summary of Position:
Machine operators may operate various machine shop equipment, maximizing efficiency and accuracy of machine processes.Machines may include:
Laser bed, router, break press, lathe, or mill. Duties & Responsibilities- Performs daily startup of machine shop equipment
- Troubleshoot machine performance issues
- Apply program to laser, maximizing efficiency of cuts and materials usage
- Track laser time for accurate job costing
- Maintain clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment
- Performs other routines duties as assigned by Supervisor, or operations manager Required Skills & Experience
- Must be able to perform duties safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be able to read prints and drawings
- Basic language, math and reasoning ability skills are a must
- Must work safely, adhering to all company policies
- Must work well with others
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adhere to/administer company policy
- Self motivated
