1. 1st 6am-2:30pm Mon- Fri 2. 2nd 2:30pm to 11:00pm Mon-Fri Pay:
up to $ 25/hr DOE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. o To efficiently use CNC machines to produce parts to print. 2. o Able to setup, load parts in the machine, cycle machine and detect any problems in machining operations, such as worn and damaged cutting tools or an error in the program when problem arise. Able to efficiently set up new parts, run production lots, and tear down for the next job in the time given. 3. o Complete all assigned machine ship operations. 4. o Must be able to load and set tooling followed by selecting the correct program for the job. 5. o Able to detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor/lead. 6. o Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow all safety procedures. 7. o Perform inspection of machined products and document results. 8. o Complete and maintain all paperwork for parts. 9. o Active involvement in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, to include keeping the work are clean and free of hazards. 10. o Mount, align and secure holding fixtures and check to establish reference points. 11. o Work from instructions to program operation specifications. 12. o Set stops and machine travel. 13. o Operations to include boring, milling, recessing, occasional profiling or contouring. 14. o Manually cycle machine through operation sequence to check fixture and work positions, tooling, clearances, speeds, etc. 15. o Notify supervisor (or lead person) immediately of problems, concerns or questions you may have. 16. o Work from part drawings, job card and specifications. Follow special instructions as communicated by supervisor or lead person. 17. o Use a variety of precision measuring instruments. 18. o Record all necessary job information on appropriate documents and forms. 19. o Comply with all Company policies and safety rules. 20. o Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead person. QUALIFICATIONS and COMPENTENCIES
Communication, Basic Math Skills, Mechanical and Technical Strategies, Time Management, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, G&M Codes, Setup Sheets, must be able to read English, Understand Blueprints and QC Check Sheets. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. 1 Year of Related Experience Preferred or Apprenticeship in lieu of Experience. Blueprint interpretation and experience with tight tolerance work. Working knowledge of shop math. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of Related Experience, Machining Certificates or Degree in Machining, Surfcam, Solidworks, G&M Codes, Haas & Milltronics Controls, Feeds and Speeds, Self Starter, First Article Inspection, Able to hold +.001 Tolerance. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. o Fast paced environment in a Job Shop and Metal Fabrication. 2. o Work environment:
Cement flooring, seasonal temperatures, background noise of machining, steel presses, shearing machine, hammering noises, power tool operation. 3. o Safety PPE required:
Steel toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection. Other PPE required per the specification of the job performed. 4. o Possible overtime but not guaranteed. 5. o Hazardous machinery and equipment. 6. o Repetitive movements:
Reaching, carrying and lifting. 7. o Standing:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Standing is on a frequent basis to perform job tasks. 8. o Sitting:
Sit on rare basis (breaks or operating some machines). 9. o Walking:
occasional to retrieve/deliver materials for performing a job task or to take part to quality inspection site. 10. o Squatting/Crouching:
occasional basis to retrieve materials/supplies needed. 11. o Kneeling:
not required. 12. o Lift:
frequent lifting up to 50 pounds. 13. o Stair Climbing:

Operator:
1st shift Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm 2ndshift Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm Key Duties & Responsibilities for CNC HAAS
Operator Perform CNC Operations:
Conduct all set-up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others. Set-up and Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.). Create, edit and/or retrieve CNC programs from system files and execute. Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc) to: manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection. If non-conforming, process via non-conforming material procedures Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system. Advise supervision of issues that arise. Perform non-CNC tasks when necessary:
non-CNC equipment operation, hand-work operations, inspections, saw-cut operations, etc. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Able to do offset, compensations, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math; proving part programs. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Requirements:
Previous HAAS experience - Mill and Lathe 2+ years of experience with CNC machines Able to pass a pre-employment background
