CNC Operator (1st & 2nd Shift) SVS Group - Tempe, AZ Full-Time | Monday-Thursday | Competitive Pay Based on Experience SVS Group is currently hiring CNC Operators for a reputable manufacturing facility in Tempe, AZ . We are seeking dependable candidates with experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a production environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can work independently, maintain quality standards, perform setups, and make basic program edits when needed. Pay & Shift Information 1st Shift $21.00-$37.00/hour , depending on experience Monday-Thursday | 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM 2nd Shift $27.00-$38.00/hour , depending on experience $1.00/hour shift differential Monday-Thursday | 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Overtime may be available. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes Perform tool changes, including inserts, drills, and end mills Make program edits and adjustments as needed Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Verify part quality and maintain tight tolerances Perform routine machine maintenance Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards Qualifications Level 1: 0-2 years of CNC experience Level 2: 2-5 years of CNC experience Level 3: 5+ years of CNC experience Setup experience is strongly preferred Program editing experience is preferred Experience with CAD/CAM or Mastercam is a plus Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Ideal Candidate Able to run jobs with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Good understanding of feeds, speeds, and tooling Aerospace or precision machining experience is a plus Apply today with your resume.
