CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our precision manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator. In this role, you will work directly alongside our core machining team to help hit production targets and maintain our high quality standards for specialized components. This position is vital to our daily operations, ensuring that the shop stays organized, machines stay running, and parts are finished to exact specifications. It's the perfect role for someone with a mechanical mind who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities and duties:

Run a variety of equipment, including lathes and mills, to manufacture high-precision parts. Regularly inspect finished components and adjust machine settings to ensure everything aligns with engineering drawings. Learn and execute machinery set-up procedures to ensure smooth transitions between different production runs. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools are properly stored and in good working order. Proactively assist the lead machinist team with secondary operations to eliminate production bottlenecks. Collaborate with senior staff to identify and solve machine-related issues or part discrepancies. Work closely with supervisors to track progress against deadlines and daily production quotas. Perform additional duties and manual tasks as directed by the Machine Shop Manager to keep operations fluid.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, with a solid background in CNC machine shop operations and manufacturing environments. Minimum 2 years of cnc machine operator experience Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to accurately read and interpret technical engineering drawings or blueprints. Sharp attention to detail and a strict commitment to workplace safety protocols. Ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn new machining skills.

Details:

Temp to hire position Monday to Friday, morning shift. $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Stability and steady schedule

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
