CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for operation of the CNC Lathe machines on

DAY SHIFT

in a production environment. Work with formal drawings, travelers, or verbal instructions. The activities include safe operation of CNC equipment, saws, grinders, sanders, fixtures, hand tools and material handling equipment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

• Load and run parts on CNC Lathe machines
• Change, tear down and setup tooling
• Understand and follow POR
• Apply inspection methods to measure parts and raise quality
• Fill out Inspection first article and in process reports through SPC and MIT
• Maintain production efficiency levels set by management
• Keep machine tools in clean and working order
• Complete traveler fully and accurately
• Log in and perform daily safety checks. Report any machine problems to supervisor
• Communicate, support, and reinforce the values of the organization professionally
• Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deburr, detail and finish parts per print

Job Qualification Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

3 years' experience in the CNC machining industry

Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to handle several tasks with frequent interruptions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Work Experience:

Must have experience with general knowledge of the CNC machining industry

Education:

An AA in Machine Technology is desired Measurements on

Lifting Requirements:
