Operated CNC machines to produce precision parts and components as specified, with a focus on the vertical mills, 5-axis, and horizontal mills. Interpreted technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machine setup and tooling requirements. Inspected finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. Collaborated with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency. Performed routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed. Adhered to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment. Used measuring instruments and performed quality control checks. Set up machines, selected appropriate tooling, and programs CNC machines for automated operations. Performed machining operations to strict tolerances and finishes. Inspected machined parts for quality and dimensional accuracy. Maintained machinery and kept work area clean and organized. Worked with specialty materials used in aerospace bearings used in demanding applications like aerospace and defense. Contributed to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing process improvements. Assisted with troubleshooting and resolving machining issues to implement solutions to minimize downtime. Monitored production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality control procedures. Oversaw the activities of a team of machinists, delegating tasks, and ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards. Trained and mentored less experienced machinists, passing on knowledge and best practices. Communicated effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Participated in safety meetings and enforced safety protocols on the shop floor. Read and interpreted blueprints and technical specifications to understand part requirements. Bilingual:
English and Vietnamese, good foundation in mathematics, time management Excellent communication skills in busy, noise environments. Proven ability to work under pressure. Capable of reading and understanding basic technical skills, knowledge of precision machining techniques, and passion for the field in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
