Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the production of high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced factory environment. Duties Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Program CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CNC programming techniques to optimize machining operations. Interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication of parts. Operate auxiliary equipment including Fanuc controls, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrication tools to support manufacturing processes. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures for materials handling, tooling setup, and machine operation; utilize forklifts when necessary for warehouse material movement. Perform regular maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls and familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, and SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications accurately. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling, fabrication processes, welding, stamping presses, and press brake operations. Experience operating various factory equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, fabrication tools, hand tools, forklifts, and packaging machinery. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; familiarity with warehouse procedures is a plus.
