This is a hands-on role focused on precision cutting and shaping of acrylic, plastics, wood, and MDF for signage and display components supporting national programs. You'll be running our Laguna SmartShop 2 Elite with Fanuc controller — and playing a key role in keeping production accurate, efficient, and moving Responsibilities Operate the Laguna SmartShop 2 Elite CNC router cutting acrylic, plastics, wood, and MDF Set up and prepare files for routing using CAD/CAM software Perform material handling — loading, unloading, and organizing stock Execute finishing work on routed parts including sanding, cleaning, and quality inspection Assist with routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Follow documented production standards and quality checks Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area Preferred Experience 1-2 years minimum experience operating a CNC router or similar production equipment Hands-on experience cutting acrylic, plastics, wood, or MDF Familiarity with Fanuc controls is a strong plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or cut files Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced shop environment Reliable, punctual, and accountable Willingness to learn and grow as our production operation scales What You Can Expect Exposure to national multi-site fabrication programs Structured production systems and clearly defined processes Opportunity to grow into advanced fabrication or leadership roles Stable, growing company with expanding in-house capabilities Hands-on work with professional-grade equipment in a real shop environment
