Job Description

Granite Mountain Stone Design, a highly respected countertop fabricator in the Central Valley, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Currently, we are looking for a CNC Operator with an exceptional work ethic who want to learn and grow with our company. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Quality Control:
Efficiently operate the CNC machine to attain the required precision cuts for each job. Prior to cutting assigned pieces, preview the tool path cut on the control panel and verify point of origin. Review AutoCAD drawings and templates to ensure cut is correct. Ensure the correct material is on hand. Complete assigned work safely and efficiently in a controlled environment.
Safety:
Abide by Cal/OSHA requirements and established company procedures. Attendance at weekly and monthly training sessions is required. Conduct processing and or production operations wearing required PPE in accordance with Cal/OSHA requirements.
Operation and Maintenance of Equipment:
You are directly responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all equipment assigned to you. Clean assigned work areas and equipment at the end of each day. Coordinate repairs of equipment as needed. Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with operating manuals and procedures and maintain your assigned work area in a high state of cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of CNC experience preferred Comfort utilizing computer systems and capable of learning and utilizing client operating systems Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently Ability to lift and/or carry 50+ lbs. Ability to bend and/or squat frequently and climb stairs/ladders occasionally Ability to reach above shoulder level frequently Ability to repetitively grasp, push, pull, perform data entry, and manipulate fine objects with hands Ability to withstand exposure to moving machinery marked changes in temperature or humidity. Ability to wear proper
PPE Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
