This role is ideal for a fully qualified 3 and 4-axis operator who is ready to bridge the gap into 5 axis core milling. You will be responsible for complex setups, verifying part conformity to exacting specifications, and assisting with process debugging.

Responsibilities:

Independently set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines, manual lathes, honing, and grinding equipment. Perform progressive operations to close tolerances and finish specifications requiring advanced knowledge of machining techniques. Verify part conformity using precision measuring equipment and perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) charting. Operate 5-axis core mills with mentorship and guidance from area leads as part of your professional development. Collaborate with supervisors to identify solutions for machining problems and optimize production effectiveness. Maintain strict material traceability and record entries in Machine Event Logs and CinCom.

Qualifications:

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and complex GD&T specifications. High School Diploma or equivalent.
