Our company provides a wide variety of services for the aerospace industry and our shop helpers are required to have broad knowledge & experience in various tasks.
Basic Duties:
Operate & set tools on a turning CNC machine. Run the machines at a competent level to ensure target output and low scrap numbers Trouble shoot tooling issues to ensure efficient operation and high quality Performs basic math calculations, including but not limited to, addition and subtraction of decimals Inspect work using standard inspection equipment to required frequency Interprets basic dimensions on a print Achieves daily part quotas Able to run multiple machines if needed Follow company's procedures Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures Executes machine offsets and tool changes Able to work with cutting oils and coolants Other duties as directed by supervisor
Basic Requirements:
Promotes and practices safety in the workplace Communicates & plays well with others Exhibits a positive attitude & is open-minded Works responsibly & dependably Possesses exceptional mechanical aptitude Is detail oriented, precise and makes very few errors Self motivated and can be productive with little supervision
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED None needed but preferred
Other Requirments:
Successfully pass physical exam, drug screen & background check U.S.A Citizen FULL-Time Position of 8-12 hours Mon-Fri with Sat optional
