Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce high-precision components, contributing to the manufacturing of critical parts. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards. Your expertise in using precision measuring equipment and maintaining equipment will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Set up and operate Citizen or Tsugami Swiss Lathes to produce precision components. Adjust offsets and perform tool changes to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Set up both new and legacy components, ensuring steady and reliable machine operation. Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Perform preventative maintenance on Swiss Lathes to maintain consistent machine performance and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot and resolve complex machine or process issues to maintain production flow. Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to quality inspection standards, ensuring compliance. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Required Skills Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong math skills, particularly in machine shop math. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and procedures. Understanding of GD&T principles. Ability to use hand-held tools for maintenance, repairs, and tool changes. Preferred Skills Experience with Class I, II, and/or III medical device manufacturing. Knowledge of GMP/ISO standards. Certification from a technical school program. Strong verbal and written English language communication skills.
