CNC Setup/Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator / Setup Technician to oversee daily lathe operations, perform setups, and support the production team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up CNC milling machines (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis as applicable) Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Select and install tooling, fixtures, and materials Adjust machine offsets and ensure proper tolerances are maintained Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks Make necessary program edits at the machine (if required) Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety and company procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum [2] years of CNC milling setup experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Familiarity with tight tolerance work (aerospace experience is a plus) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues Reliable and detail-oriented

Preferred Skills:

Experience with [Fanuc / Okuma / etc.] controls Knowledge of tooling and cutting parameters
