Cnc Machine Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for candidates with basic machining experience looking to grow their skills in a production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job travelers Load raw materials and unload finished parts Monitor machine operations and adjust offsets as needed Perform routine inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Maintain production logs and quality documentation Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required CNC machine operating experience preferred (training may be available for entry-level candidates) Ability to read blueprints and understand basic G-code is a plus Familiarity with precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime if needed Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience with Haas, Fanuc, or Mazak controls Setup experience or tool changes Manufacturing or machining certification Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
