In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running CNC multi-axis lathes (Emco, Index, Tsugami, Spinner, DMG, Doosan) to manufacture high-precision metal components. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications Make adjustments and offsets to ensure parts remain in tolerance Basic set-up and verification of equipment prior to running production for each job. Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. If there are any questions on the set up of machine, ask supervisor/set up lead person prior to start up. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of CNC lathe or Swiss machine operating experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work in noisy environments. Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, twisting and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
