Job Description

Position Summary:
We are a leading ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
certified plastic injection molding manufacturer specializing in high-precision medical device components. We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our toolroom team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment to produce precision tooling components that support our medical injection molding operations. The CNC Operator will ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machining equipment (mills, lathes, or 3-axis machines) in the toolroom. Load and monitor machine programs, ensuring efficient and accurate production of tooling components. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions. Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM) to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes as needed. Maintain equipment, tooling, and work area in a clean and organized condition. Document work performed in accordance with ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
quality standards. Collaborate with toolmakers and engineers to ensure parts meet design and functional requirements. Follow all company safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of CNC operating experience (manufacturing or toolroom environment). Experience with CNC mills or 3-axis machining (medical or plastics industry preferred). Ability to read and understand blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents. Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
requirements (preferred). Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a toolroom supporting plastic injection molding. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) a plus. Technical diploma, certificate, or training in machining/manufacturing technology
