Are you a CNC Operator who is tired of simple 2-axis lathes? Our firm is representing a premier, high-precision metal manufacturing partner in Clearwater seeking a CNC Multi-Axis Specialist. This is a high-level production role for someone who loves "busy" machines. You won't just be watching a part spin; you will be managing a complex synchronized process where milling and turning happen simultaneously to achieve incredibly tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced CNC Operation:

Lead the production run on Eurotech Multi-Axis Turn-Mill centers, ensuring high-speed synchronization between spindles and turrets.

Complex Blueprint Interpretation:

Read and navigate intricate engineering drawings to ensure every part meets 100% of the customer's specifications.

Precision Metrology:

Use high-end calipers, micrometers, and specialized gauges to verify "zero-error" tolerances on every production batch.

Live Tooling & Adjustments:

Perform routine tool changes and make critical offset adjustments to maintain part integrity throughout the shift.

Process Monitoring:

Maintain a "constant-watch" approach to identify non-conforming parts or mechanical deviations before they impact the run.

Operational Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve minor operational issues to keep these high-performance machines running at peak efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications:

CNC Background:

Proven experience operating CNC Lathes or Mills; experience with multi-spindle or multi-axis (Live Tooling) machines is highly preferred.

Technical Literacy:

You must be fluent in reading complex blueprints and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Precision Tooling:

Mandatory expertise in using micrometers, calipers, and various precision inspection gauges.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong "shop-math" skills and a deep understanding of metal cutting physics and tool wear.
