CNC Laser Operator

Job summary This is a Second Shift Position. We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our fabrication team. The Laser Operator will be responsible with assisting in running both a CNC Fiber Laser and Plasma Table.

Description:

Operate CNC Fiber Laser and Plasma Table Cutting Machines. Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine. Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist. Maintain parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Monitor fill level of bulk tank system. Keep work area and machines clean and organized.

Requirements:

Must have experience with Mazak Fiber Laser and Hypertherm Plasma Table or any other commercial CNC Fiber Lasers and Plasma Tables. Must have knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities. Must provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Follow all company rules and policies. Follow all safety rules and quality standards. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings. Able to work in various weather conditions. Willingness to grow and learn to become a Laser Operator.
