MACHINIST IN JACKSONVILLE, FL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a CNC Machinist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This individual will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and milling machines, programming complex parts for CNC multi-axis lathes & mills, and developing machine set-ups and program edits. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of machining and strong machining skills, 5 years experience turning and set-up on CNC Lathes/Mills, and medium to high level of experience with tools and inserts. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $28-$32/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm Located in Jacksonville, Florida Duties and Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes and milling machines - including programming, setup, and running operations. (Mazak/Mazatrol, DMG/Mori/Celos Shopmill, Doosan Puma/ EZ Guide i ) Program complex parts for CNC multi-axis lathes & mills (Use of G-code and/or conversational programming on lathes & mills) Develop machine set-ups and program edits, ensuring programs are properly organized and preserved Understand geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Read and interpret 2-D shop prints Select proper tooling for production and manufacturing Work with tolerances to +/- .001 Maintain highest levels of quality - as specified by customer requirements Inspect parts using a variety of equipment: micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, other as needed Demonstrate forward thinking to anticipate and avoid problems, and effectively trouble-shoot and resolve any problems that do arise Work with minimal supervision, but also engage productively within a team environment Update job paperwork, keeping it accurate and organized Use electronic Job Tracking application to ensure job status information remains accurate and up-to-date Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required per M/M schedules Other duties may be assigned as necessary and appropriate Requirements and Qualifications Extensive knowledge of machining and strong machining skills Five (5) years experience turning and set-up on CNC Lathes/Mills Medium to high level of experience with tools and inserts Production Experience with high performance alloys (e.g., copper/nickel, Inconel, stainless) Experience troubleshooting machining issues with various types of manual and CNC lathes & mills. Experience in inspection of machined parts Trigonometry & Blueprint literacy Production Experience with high performance alloys (e.g., copper/nickel, Inconel, stainless) Experience troubleshooting machining issues with various types of manual and CNC lathes & mills High School (or equivalent) with Technical School CNC Programming education/certification — (Salary range based on experience) —
