Multiple Positions Available Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. CNC Operation Experience (Preferred, not required), employer will train. Employer will conduct background check. Due to the nature of the position, must be 18 years old. Working Knowledge of G-code programming (Preferred, not required) Experience with Haas mill (3,4 & 5 axis) and y axis lathe (mill turn) a plus. Knowledge of machine and cutting tool terminology helpful Experience working with aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel a plus Experience operating a forklift a plus
Duties:
Produce metal components on 4 or 5 axis vertical mills and 4 to 6 axis mill-turn lathes Receive incoming raw materials, verify against packing slip, place material on appropriate holding rack Load raw materials into fixtures on CNC machines Remove completed parts and perform quality inspections. Complete in-process production paperwork, including documenting serial numbers. Transfer finished parts batches to finishing (tumbling and blasting) and perform as needed Mix and change tumbler fluid and process wastewater for disposal as needed Monitor machine coolant and oil levels, topping offing off as necessary. Perform routine and preventative maintenance at regularly scheduled intervals. Check and clean out chip traps on coolant tanks and empty scrap hoppers into briquetter as needed. Routine cleaning of the shop environment including CNC machines enclosures, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and emptying trash bins into dumpster.
Compensation:
16.00 -24.00 hourly Postion is Full Time
