Job Description

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking CNC Operators for a Direct Hire opportunity at a warehouse located in Smyrna! The ideal candidate is someone with experience adjusting milling and turning CNC machines. We are looking for experience with GD & T Code, G & M Code and cutting metal or making parts experience.
Pay Rate :
$45,000-55,000/year Education Requirements for

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Experience adjusting milling and turning CNC machines. Experience with GD & T Code, G&M Code and cutting metal or making parts. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Must understand how measure parts with use of precision measurement equipment. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of CNC Operators:
Perform adjustments related with machine settings, tools, and times. Analyze part measurements to determine adjustments needed. Responsible for production and quality output for specified area. Read blueprints to ensure dimensional conformance of parts. Reviews measurement reports to assess product conformity and necessary corrections. Perform re-works on and off machine. Performs booking operations and ensures reported quantities are correct. Performs visual inspections to identify issues as early in the production process as possible. Trains operators on S.O.P. as well as visual inspection details. Helps with workflow by identifying bottlenecks and promptly communicating status with supervisors and CNC technicians. Maintains a high level of safety and cleanliness in the manufacturing area. Supports production plans based on priorities, output goals, and efficiencies of their respective lines. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
