Cnc Operator

Now Hiring CNC Machinist 1st shift!! Set up, program, and operate manual and CNC machines to produce high-precision metal parts. Read blueprints, calculate tolerances, select tooling, and ensure all parts meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills; perform efficient setups and changeovers Read blueprints and machining instructions; calculate dimensions and tolerances Select tooling, set offsets, and prove out CNC programs Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain production documentation Follow OSHA, PPE, 5S, and lockout/tagout safety standards Maintain an organized, clean work area and support team production goals Required Skills & Experience Technical certificate or equivalent machining experience CNC machining experience Experience with CNC lathes and mills Blueprint reading and machining math proficiency Use of calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs Why Work Here Family-style shop with strong culture Union-level benefits (no union membership required) Monday-Friday schedule with summer hours Annual pay increases and long-term stability Work Environment 50-person machine shop, non-climate-controlled Standard hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $27.42/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
