CNC Mill Operator

CNC Machinist/Operator We are seeking a reliable and experienced CNC Vertical Mill Operator / Machinist to join our team. This position will primarily be responsible for operating our Haas

vertical mill to produce quality machined parts efficiently and accurately. Candidates with experience running Haas VF series machines are strongly preferred. Lathe experience is also a major plus and may provide opportunities to assist in additional machining operations as needed. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load materials and tools, verify offsets, and monitor machine performance
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
• Make minor program edits and offset adjustments as needed
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate with supervisors or programmers when needed
• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Assist with other machining duties as needed, including lathe operations if qualified Required Qualifications
• Experience operating CNC vertical mills
• Experience with Haas VF series machines is a strong plus
• Lathe experience is highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Skills
• Experience setting tool offsets and making minor program edits
• Familiarity with Haas controls
• Ability to perform setups and troubleshoot production issues
• Experience working in a fast-paced machine shop environment Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift materials and parts as needed
• Ability to work safely around machinery and shop equipment Pay $26 - $32/hr.

DOE Schedule M-TH 6am - 4:30pm

Pay:

$25.00 - $36.00 per hour
