(G-Code, Mazatrol is a plus) Knowledge of tooling and different applications to apply. Ability to do setups required to complete the part, including work holding. Ability to calculate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials. Must be able to hold tight tolerances. (/- .0005) Proficient at using inspection equipment. (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.) Ability to read and understand blueprints. Use blueprints, specifications, job routings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances to plan daily machining. Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude. Ability to detect and trouble shoot problems by taking measurements, adjusting controls, closely monitoring drilling, and cutting. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. This is a safety sensitive position.
